At AYP, we encourage our students/members to honor their temples, exactly as they are today, by listening to the body and progressing intuitively. Yogis practicing alongside each other inspires our progress, but we're not competing against anyone but ourselves. Every yogi has to start somewhere (yes, even the fancy Instagram yogis). |
Yoga is a practice and a lifelong journey. It is not about doing the postures perfectly. As long as you give your best effort, you will receive the same therapeutic benefit as someone who has practiced for years and obtained a high level of flexibility, strength, and balance.
