Breath & BandhasAyurveda CookingThis workshop explains cooking for your dosha and health benefits.
The cooking class will teach you how to cook three main course meals and will also provide a dosha appetizer and dosha drink for each participant to share in a community style meal. |

Headstand Safety
Explore the ways to practice and assist a safe headstand as well as the multiples headstand variations in the Ashtanga System and the importance of loosening the rigid upper thoracic spine. All levels are welcome. Participants can get CE's from Yoga Alliance
Learn injury prevention from a licensed Physical Therapist and strength training exercises for stability. |
Sun SalutesLearn Injury prevention, technique, standing, chair and wall modifications, and the history behind these beneficial poses, breathes, gazes, body locks and anatomical alignment. Instructors are 500 hr YTT graduates and YACEP as well as licensed as a physical therapist and massage therapist.

BackbendsSpend an hour working back flexability and drop-backs. Multiple drills and strength building exercises. One on One instruction.
Anatomy of the JointsJoin us in our Anatomy and Physiology workshop where we learn the key joints, ligaments, and tendons that allow the body to bend, reach, and move around. Specific joints we will learn about include the shoulder, knee, and hip joints.

Dristi (gaze)Nine dristis in the Ashtanga system are useful for more than concentration and alignment. Join us for a time or practice and conversation using each of the dristis.
In this workshop, we will be learning how in the Ashtanga practice, varying drishtis, or a focused eye positions, exist in order to help us bring more focus + intention to our flow. It may sound small, but honing in your visual focus to a specific point does wonders when it comes to taming some of our mindless distraction. No matter where you are in your journey, come and experience how being mindful of the varying drishtis can help in “quieting down some of the chaos.” |
SplitsLearn techniques to advance your flexibility without damaging your muscles, ligaments or tendons. This is for all levels. We will speak on the importance of flexibility for practice, stability and injury prevention and practice several useful drills.
Anatomy of the CoreThe human body is a community of muscles that all lead back to the core. In this workshop, we will not only learn about the muscles that make up our core, but we will learn how they relate to both common and specialized movements. Come join us and explore what it means to develop a truly strong core all while enhancing your technique and posture.
