What is MYSORE?:
"Mysore" is the traditional way to learn the astanga yoga sequence.
In a Mysore class (also often called a "Mysore room"),  the ashtanga series (sequences of poses) are taught individually to each student.  This one-on-one teaching in a community setting allows the teacher to give each student modifications and adjustments appropriate to their needs. 


Our Mysore room is open from 6:45am to 9:15am most Mondays-Fridays (check the schedule for variations in this schedule due to holidays, moon days, etc.) This long period of time is to give yogis the flexibility to show up when they want and practice at their own level and pace.

New to yoga? New to Ashtanga?  We love beginners!
Before we start, there are just a few
 things you'll want to know. ​
  • We encourage you to take intro to ashtanga Mysore 3-10 times before joining the more established group
  • Intro to Ashtanga Mysore is 6:50-7:40am M-F mornings
  • Wear Comfortable clothing that will not move too much
  • Come on an empty stomach, or a lite meal
  • Communicate any injuries or discomfort to your instructor
  • Enjoy your poses, Yoga is fun and takes time to progress
